Midgard World

ISEKAICREATOR 背景

Midgard has the technology and social conventions of the 17th century.

A citizen class is born in the city, and there are several megacities with a population of one million people in the world.

The major differences between the Midgard world and the Genkai world are the existence of magic and monsters, and the existence of humans as a heterogeneous race with external characteristics that differ from the general human race of the Genkai world.

◆Magic

In the source world, magic that is a product of fantasy exists.

From simple phenomena such as emitting flames, to creating illusions, putting people to sleep, and distorting space, they can cause mysterious paranormal phenomena whose principles are unknown.

It has been established as a skill, and if it is learned correctly, even humans from the Source World can use magic, but it seems that their ability depends on their innate aptitude.

◆ Monster

Unlike normal creatures, monsters have a hatred for humans and work to kill humans.

Monsters also have a unique ecology, and when defeated, their bodies disappear as if they melt into space, leaving crystal-like fragments called magic crystal fragments behind.

Due to the existence of monsters, the human survival area in Midgard is not so large.

Civilization has not progressed, and power is everything outside of towns and villages.

The dangers to travelers are many, and caravans carrying valuables often gather people into caravans and employ mercenaries as guards.

Mankind's survival is constantly threatened by monsters, and as a countermeasure against monsters, barriers are often set up in human villages, and soldiers and mercenaries are often stationed.

However, due to some trouble, when the barrier is destroyed, a large amount of monsters gather out of nowhere, and gruesome accidents occur frequently, annihilating the town.

Races that live in Midgard

Midgard is dominated by humans, but there are also other races, such as dwarves in the mountains and elves in the forests, who are also considered to be imaginary beings in the source world.

In addition, beastmen with a beast-like body shape mixed with humans, small races of grass people with large ears covered with bushy hair, and horns with hard skin like horns and scales. People also live there.

In the past, humans and aliens sometimes waged war, but coexistence is now universally accepted.

Of course, there are things like towns with a lot of specific races and the ruling class being of a specific race.

In addition, when described as a human, heterogeneous species are included. When describing humans or humans, heterogeneous races are not included.

◆ Midgard's technology

Although firearms and artillery such as cannons still exist, they generally have technology from around the 17th century.

Perhaps because of the existence of magic, instead of steam or electricity, magic crystal fragments are used for power, and it has developed based on magic crystal technology.

Magic Crystal Fragments are large-capacity magic batteries, and although they cannot be recharged, they are infinitely generated from monsters.

Energy can be easily extracted and used by using magic crystal fragments and devices based on magic crystal technology.

There are even things that are more convenient than the source world, such as "a bag that distorts space and can carry a lot of luggage" and "a flush toilet that can be used without a water source".

Genkai no Imagination

Elves, dwarves, magic and monsters are similar to the fantasy world of the source world, it may be that humans with the void ability have been influenced by glimpses of the Midgard world.

Alternatively, it may have been the ``actual experience'' of the Void Warriors of the past who traveled to the world of Midgard.
