The 3D CharaCon is a tool for converting humanoid 3D models in VRM format into 2D character animation assets created for the RPG Maker series. By importing commercially available or user-created humanoid VRM models, you can convert them into 2D character assets that can be used in the RPG Maker series!The output files includes 5 types of walking graphics, 18 types of side-view battle characters (SV battlers), or facial images for conversations!

You can use any commercially available modeling software or VRM generation apps to either create your own VRM models, or purchase and edit your favorite character VRM models to be converted with our 3D CharaCon! Feel free to edit their clothes and hairstyles as you wish – a perk of working with 3D models! Any humanoid VRM format file can be converted via the 3D CharaCon!
(*Please check the terms and conditions of use set by the author before using models purchased from a third party.)<br>(*RPG Maker series assumes 2-3.5 head height (aka Chibi) characters by default, so if you wish to use higher head heights or body proportions, you may need to modify the RPG Maker engine itself to make them look more natural.)
This application is mainly intended for use with the upcoming release of RPG Maker Unite,
but it can also be used with RPG Maker MV and MZ as it supports a variety of resolutions!
In addition to the 98 x 146 (walking graphics) and 194 x 194 (SV Battler) resolutions, which are the same specifications as the default assets in RPG Maker Unite, the following resolutions are supported
Walking graphics: 48 x 48, 64 x 64, 128 x 128, 256 x 256
SV Battler: 64 x 64, 320 x 320, 512 x 512
